This
is the second part of the Blockbuster List containing the countdown from number
11 to 20. As I have mentioned in my previous post, there are up to 30 potential
Blockbusters slated to hit the theater this year, so this is an awesome year to
be a movie fan. Of course, not all of the 30 movies will ultimately do great in
the theaters after their release, but it is worth keeping a watch on these
movies and hope they come up good. The 10 movies that miss out from this list
are:

Shell is a scifi action film based on the Japanese Manga series of the same
name by Masamune Shirow. The story is about a Cyborg called The Major who is a
commander in the anti-cyber terrorist force and her attempt to bring down a

18. Kingsman: The Golden Circle
Director
Matthew Vaughn brings us the sequel to the 2015 hit spy action-comedy Kingsman
-The Secret Service which is based on the Secret Service comic book series
written by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons. In this movie - Eggsy, Merlin and Roxy
travels to USA to join forces with Statesman, Kingsman's American counterpart
to face the criminal mastermind Poppy. Kingsman - The Golden Circle has a star
studded cast of Taron Egerton as Gary "Eggsy" Unwin / Galahad, a
Kingsman secret agent and the main hero, Sophie Cookson as Roxanne
"Roxy" Morton / Lancelot - a Kingsman secret agent and Eggsy's best
friend, Colin Firth as Harry Hart - Eggsy’s presumably dead former mentor and
Kingsman's top secret agent, Mark Strong as Merlin, Halle Berry, Pedro
Pascal, Channing Tatum ,Jeff Bridges,Samantha Womack ,Elton John, Vinnie Jones
and Julianne Moore as Poppy, the main villain of the movie. the 2015 movie
brought back the Spy Action-Thriller genre back and was stylish with some crazy
action sequence. Given the track record of Matthew Vaughn, this movie hopefully
would raise the bar that bit higher.
Kingsman - The Golden Circle is scheduled to release on October 6, 2017.
17. Mummy
Kingsman - The Golden Circle is scheduled to release on October 6, 2017.
17. Mummy
The Mummy franchise reboot is all set to unleash on the silver screen and set up the Universal Monster shared Universe. That is a shared universe where you will have The Mummy, Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde, Frankenstein, Dracula, Van Helsing. This movie is the first installment of the Monster-verse and stars Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella as Princess Ahmanet / The Mummy, Javier Botet as the Egyptian God Set, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson, Courtney B. Vance and Russell Crowe as Dr. Henry Jekyll / Mr Hyde. Universal Studios are very series about their shared Universe and landing star power like Tom Cruise and Russel Crowe this movie is enough to catch our attention. The first trailers look pretty good and very different from the previous Mummy trilogy. The interesting thing is that since Tom Cruise is said to be like the Tony Stark of this franchise linking all the different movies in this Movie Universe, would it be completely insane to speculate that he may be playing Van Helsing? We will wait and watch.
Mummy is scheduled to release in theaters on June 9, 2017.
16. Transformers: The Last Knight
The Fifth Installment of the Transformer franchise is upon us. I liked the first Transformer movie but the next three were not that good. But still it is fun to watch the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out. In the previous movie, Optimus Prime left earth to find the Creators of the Transformers and in his absence, Earth is under the protection of the remaining Autobots. In the trailers that have been released, we see Optimus Prime battling Bumblebee and some kind of time traveling happening as it can be seen that the Transformers are fighting it out in King Arthur's days. We also catch a glimpse of Cybertron. Well, we have no clue what is going on in this movie and my expectations are pretty tempered when it comes to the story, I just want to see some cool action sequence. What is intriguing is the addition of Sir Anthony Hopkins in the cast playing an English Lord. Director Michael Bay returns for this fifth installment and also reprising their roles from previous movie are Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Isabela Monar Josh Duhamel among others.
Transformers : The Last Knight is scheduled to release on June 23,
2017.
15. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
Johnny Depp is back as Captain Jack Sparrow is back in the fifth installment of the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise and this time he is going to face the powerful and merciless ghost pirate hunter Capitán Salazar, who was trapped in the Devil's Triangle and after escaping, he seeks the Trident of Poseidon to kill every pirate at sea and exact revenge on his old enemy, Jack Sparrow. We welcome back in this movie popular characters like Captain Barbossa played by Geoffrey Rush, Captain Will Turner played by Orlando Bloom and Kevin McNally as Joshamee Gibbs. Capitán Salazar is played by the fantastic Javier Bardem (No Country For Old Men, Vickey Christina Barcelona, Skyfall). Directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg from a script by Jeff Nathanson, the filmmakers have cited that this movie's tone is inspired by the first movie of the Franchise and if it proves to be as good a movie as the first one then we are in for a treat.
